FLOTEC REACHES FINALIST STAGE FOR WORKPLACE WELLBEING.
Loughborough-based Flotec, a leading supplier of reliable hose and engineering solutions to rail, is delighted to announce it has reached finalist stage for the 2022 East Midlands FSB Celebrating Small Businesses Awards.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) exists to help smaller companies achieve their ambitions.
As a member, Flotec benefits from financial advice, training programmes and wider organisational support which is further backed by a powerfully collective voice heard in government.
Flotec has been successful in reaching finalist stage for the East Midlands region’s wellbeing category.
The FSB judging panel recognised Flotec’s ability as a small business to react rapidly to the global pandemic to ensure business continuity with the safety of employees and all stakeholders being of paramount importance.
Furthermore, FSB judges were truly impressed with Flotec’s Chloe Lofthouse and Sophie Wright who took it upon themselves to become Workplace Mental Wellbeing First Aid Responders.
To achieve this status, the duo undertook official FAQ Level 2 training through St John Ambulance.
The awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday 6th April 2022.
Since submitting its entry to FSB, Flotec has begun a journey with the governments disability confident scheme which exists to create a movement of change and to encourage employers to think differently about disability and to act on how they recruit, retain, and develop disabled people.
