FLOTEC ARE FINALIST FOR INNOVATION AWARD, AGAIN!
Flotec are extremely proud to announce that the business has been shortlisted for an award within the Innovation of the Year category for The Midlands Business Awards 2019.
The Midlands Business Awards celebrates the finest business talent the region has to offer. Businesses of all sizes, industries and sectors from across the whole of the Midlands region come together and celebrate their successes and this year, Flotec are a finalist!
In 2016, Flotec were shortlisted in the UK Rail Industry Awards for Product and Service Innovation due to their revolutionary new clamp system, and now in 2019 it has once again been nominated for an award.
By using the Bluestripe EPDM coolant hose (a hose 10x more resistant to water permeation than the silicone alternative) and the PowerGrip clamp (a polymeric clamp uniquely qualified to prevent leakage after fitting), this pioneering product combination has been proven to completely eliminate leaking hoses and significantly reduce downtime.
Flotec have been fitting the PowerGrip and Bluestripe coolant hose solution on rolling stock across the county as a permanent solution to engine coolant leaks for a long time and are delighted that once again, this reliable solution has been recognised.
Flotec Industrial Limited are up against 5 other Midlands based companies for the Innovation of the Year category and the winners for all the awards will be announced at the Gala Dinner on Friday 8th March 2019.
Maria, Flotec's Business Development Manager who represented the business in a face to face interview with judges’ panel in October said "The Midlands Business Awards is a prestigious event and we are so pleased to be shortlisted".
