Brush Traction Award Flotec with Supplier of the Year 2019!
Last night (26th September 2019), Flotec Industrial attended Brush Traction’s Supplier Awards Evening, which is held every year to celebrate suppliers and to thank them for their on-going support.
Each year, Brush Traction staff vote for their top three suppliers and then the results are announced during a brilliant presentation evening. This year the ceremony was held at The Apple Tree Coffee Shop in Burton-on-Trent.
We are proud to say that Brush Traction awarded Flotec Industrial Limited with the Supplier of The Year Award for 2019!
We were presented with this award due to our contribution to the Flex 319 Project (also known as the Flex 769 Project) which has been under development since 2014.
The Flex Modification turns electric powered trains (Class 319) into a Hybrid Class known as Class 769. The Brush designed DA Raft holds a diesel MAN engine, allowing the train to travel on its own power or on the 25Kv overhead lines. Find out more about the Flex project here.
We have been working with Brush Traction for over 24 years and have been involved in the Flex project since it first began. This is Flotec Industrial Limited’s second Supplier of The Year Award from Brush Traction, as we were also honoured with the prize in 2018.
