As we skyrocket towards Christmas and the New Year, let’s firstly reflect upon Flotec’s 2025, before looking towards the journey ahead.

CELEBRATING THIRTY YEARS OF SUCCESS.

Flotec kicked the year off with a bang, publicly announcing its thirty-year partnership with Gates Hydraulics.


Gates is a global hydraulic hose and end coupling OEM.


The original driving force behind the collaboration was the high quality of their manufactured products which are tested far above international and industry standards, making them perform better and last much longer.

FULL STEAM AHEAD WITH THE RAILWAY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION.


In April 2025, SME railway supplier, Flotec, applied for and was granted membership to the Railway Industry Association (RIA).


The Railway Industry Association was founded in 1875 and according to its website, has played a critical role in moulding the modern rail industry across the UK.


Having already been a Rail Business Daily (RBD) community member for several years, when news broke about the merger between RBD and RIA, it made sense for Flotec to engage and get onboard with the amalgamation.

A DRIVING FORCE OF INNOVATION.


2025 was the year that Flotec exhibited at its first ever Automechanika show.


This major automotive event brought together 550+ leading brands from 25+ countries and 15,000 senior UK based visitors from across the automotive industry.


In partnership with Italian manufacturer Flexbimec, Flotec was on-hand to demonstrate an innovative range of hose reel and industrial lubrication equipment.

After a year of R&D, testing, debugging and development, Flotec’s brand new e-commerce website went LIVE in June of this year.


Built using the very latest web technology, items can be delivered the next working day, if ordered before 10.00pm.

ON A ROLL WITH ROLLING STOCK.


For the fifth consecutive year, Flotec exhibited at Rolling Stock Networking.


In attendance were Business Development Director, Richard Hodgkinson, Daniel Chatfield and Maria Smith.


On display was Flotec’s range of DMU engine cooling solutions.

NAVIGATING THE NETWORKING INFRASTRUCTURE.


In September, Flotec exhibited at the Rail Infrastructure Networking event.


This year being particularly special, as the UK celebrated its 200th anniversary of the modern railway.


Critical in maintaining the UK’s rail and track infrastructure are the yellow plant and on-track maintenance machines (OTMs) responsible for the overall upkeep of the network.


Flotec demonstrated how it supports yellow plant operators in reducing machine downtime and enhancing vehicle efficiency.

2025. A YEAR TO REMEMBER.


2025 was the year that Flotec celebrated thirty years of being in business.


The team got together at a plush restaurant, enjoying an evening of food, drink, memories, nostalgia and excitable optimism for the company’s future.
