Flotec exhibits at Rolling Stock Networking 2022!
Loughborough-based Flotec, a trusted and leading supplier of reliable hose and engineering solutions, exhibits at Rolling Stock Networking 2022.
Rolling Stock Networking (RSN) is a one-day annual spectacular, showcasing the very best that rolling stock suppliers to the rail sector have to offer.
According to event organisers Kevin and Susan Lane:
“RSN 2022 is a full-scale, international rail show focussed specifically on passenger and freight rolling stock, technical enhancements, depot equipment, ancillary services, and the rail supply chain in 2022”.
Celebrating its third year, RSN was held at the iconic Derby Velodrome on Thursday 7th July 2022.
Always enjoying an impressive turnout with a large and vibrant footfall, it made perfect sense for Flotec to be present.
Residing for the day on space C4, Flotec was delighted to welcome visitors to its stand.
On display was a train battery charging unit which garnered a great deal of interest with some promising lead generation being created.
The Flotec Rail Division has established a stock holding facility of all necessary components to manufacture a series of the battery charging units to supersede the older Prepair models which are beyond repair.
This service supports both existing and new train fleets.
A dedicated workshop area has been set up within Flotec’s manufacturing plant to offer an efficient and timely service for existing Prepair units which are repairable, using competitively priced OEM components.
Also exhibited was the award-winning variable pitch fan which provides DMU trains with a preventative engine return to idle solution – as opposed to a reactive one – because the innovative fan and associated system technology pre-empts delays and works to eliminate them before they occur, benefitting the rail network and those who rely on it.
Additional showcased products included Flotec’s industry trusted, tried and tested leak-free MED-HT hydrostatic hoses, abrasion resistant hose coverings and Bluestripe EPDM rail coolant hosing.
